I already ordered Blitz boost/pressure/EGT gauges but they wont be here for another two weeks.
For somebody that was supposed to be working on limited funds, you sure are going with some big name stuff (blitz ecu, blitz gauges) that really won't help with your car's driveability issues. For the amount of money and time you guys spend on your cars trying to remotely make them just drive right, I applaud you for your efforts. But take some of the advice given and stop spending so much money because all what you guys are trying to achieve have been done less the headaches by many a member from the CA community here at NICO and CA enthusiasts in geneeral. Buying CA crap from ebay won't help much. Those vendors have to make money and they'll tell you anything to move a product. I just did a bootleg automatic CA for a new CA owner and though I've never done an automatic before, it still worked-out better than some of the disaster stories I hear on this forum. And the same thing is, the ingredients have been given time and time after time after time again. If your project continues to be a problem for you, I suggest you take the car to someone who can help you or you never will enjoy the wonders of this little engine and even worse, you'll sell it and become a statistic.

Buying the SSAC manifold was the worst decision, lesson learned so now Im not gonna cheap out and rather spend the money on quality products.

To be honest that SSAC mani isn't that bad. As I've said before, I'm running one w/o any problems. I had my machine shop and 2 welding shops look at it before I put it on and they all gave it the "go-ahead". But just spending more money isn't going to mean you're going to get quality. And in some aspect, "quality" isn't paramount. Gauges for instance. I honestly don't understand why people talk so much crap on autometer gauges. I've compared the accuracy of my boost gauge to a freinds blitz boost gauge and they were w/in .25psi of each other. That's barely even visually noticable. And let me ask you this; How much did you just spend for that boost gauge of yours? I got mine, shipped, for less than $50. And that wasn't even a bargain price.

I think it has more to do with purchasing things in order of importance.

Get the car running in stock form first. Then get GaugesUpgrade radiatorUpgrade intercoolerUpgrade exhaustInjectors, fuel pump,MAFS, SAFCBoost controllerTurboTurbo mani

If the motor is in decent shape, this should be enough to get you near the 260-270whp mark. Even 250whp in a 2400-2700lb car is respectably quick.

^Thanks for the suggetions, maybe its just me having back luck with cars these days.

I'll take your advise and use the SSAC manifold, but I will do some porting inside prior to installation this time around.

My car was running not properly from stock form, due to the stock turbo seal was leaking and making white smoke. So the very first mod I did was turbo upgrade to GT28R & fuel pump, which is unusual because thats usually the last mod that most of you guys would do. Nobody really would upgrade their turbo right away as their first mod right?

Anyway, I have already ordered a bunch of parts:

Blitz gauges (boost/pressure/EGT)Blitz ecu (boost/rev limited cut)SSAC intercoolerSSAC manifold/dump/downGTR 444 injectorsARC BOVHKS filter

With the above mods, I hope my car would be running properly for the first time.

As for the future plans, instead of getting the MAF/SAFC/boost controller route, I am considering to get the AEM EMS instead which has full control of fuel, timing and boost.

I haven't decide on the radiator yet, but Im looking into Koyo or C&R.

What do you think of my buildup plans?

actually a lot of ppl upgrade the turbo because: 1) the stock one is small 2) they want to make sure it has a good turbo on there and 3) its a good bit easier with the engine out.
