Anybody else have the GT SPEC Front Ladder Brace? I picked one up on Ebay, for what I thought is a pretty good deal ($144 + free shipping), and for sure you can tell it stiffens things up. I thought it would be like the DC strut brace I added and not really tell much, but I was really surprised.

yup i got that strut bar and the underbody brace...you immediately notice the difference. i currently just have the tanabe lowering spring but do plan on getting the coil-overs from them. congrats on your new toy for the car! the tanabe looks good too but they took to long to put theirs into production. have fun!

okay so I just got mine in the mail and unfortunately just notied that i need to buy screws and washers for the ladder brace?I don't know what sizes to get and am completely confused as to how the back two holes are supposed to screw into the "non metal or paint/coat to protect from rust"

I just lifted my V...and yeah...i was hoping to do this right now

ouch! that sucks.... i imagine they would be like a 14mm or so.... maybe bigger.... sorry to say but thats what happens when you buy from ebay... sure the price is cheaper, but look at all these headaches.... no hardware= bull****... i would give the guy negative feedback....

loli had thought that i would just re-use the screws on the Versa already kind of like the strut bar ones (although I bought better ones...)

hmm

im asking around other forums to see if there are some other ones because these seem to be a different kind. you slip a white thing in the hole and then screw it in. Theres no thread.Heres a pic:

what exactly does it mount to? and you never told me what car your velocity inducers came off of.... those white things must be like the plastic backing used on drywall screws, if that makes any sense at all...

Velocity inducers?I just bought them. They are universal. I thought I told everyone that asked. The brand is Vortex Generators I think.I listed it on my ROTQ page.I think they go to the 4 points on the bottom of the V. They aren't threaded so I guess it would need somethign to hold the screw up and the brace at the same time.

So...drywall backing screws?

Mine came with the hardware. It was wrapped to the bar, I thought it was missing too.

It is kind of curved pieces of metal with nuts welded on them. They let you use holes that are already there. Send him a email.

"sorry to say but thats what happens when you buy from ebay" Not so. they are shipped direct from mfg.

I have the upper and the lower strut braces at my shop for the Versa, sell those for 100 bucks per. Anyone interested just let me know.

Still have the only IMPUL Body kit for the Versa and the pair of MOMO Seats that I am selling for 400 bucks w/sliders.
