my personal feeling on group buys is they tend to suck

aomeone has tobethe co-ordinator and then everyone else has to trust this persone to handle the deal, get the best deal and in some cases handle their money, and in most cases they save very little, careful shopping usually can get you about as good a deal as most group buys

as for you selection of products:1. hks hi power, I was disapointed with the quality of their exhaust on my Z322. pulley's, thye are pretty cheap to start, not much money to be saved3. they are called wheels, callign them "rims" makes you sound uneducated and fodder for even more flaming4.could you be more vague?

I don't see this thread going the way you'd like

I think your best bet would be to try and get a group buy on the pulleys. The wheels would be a bit difficult to get more than a couple of people to agree on in my opinion, and if you've only got two or three people buying I don't think there would be much, if any, discount. And if I'm not mistaken thmotorsports.com sells the HKS super cheap. Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe they're running a special on it. Type hks in the promo code box on your way to checking out, and you can get it for $1287, shipped. I don't think you'll get it cheaper than that.

Less flaming, more information!

...and you wonder why people lash back at you. Posting like this gets you nowhere, and this is going against the post Beancooker just put up to defend you...

Rim - the outer lip of the wheel, where the tire is mounted to. Think of it as a large circle.

Wheel - the spokes, the center bore, the rim, etc. Basically everything that you see that supports and connects to the car.

The wheel contains the rim.

If you were to buy a rim, you wouldn't be able to drive on it. A wheel is the full product that goes onto your car.

this is the sort of thing that gets the flames going, yup I mis type a lot! and occasionally mis spell words, you'll notice I'm not the one to give you grief over punctuation and spelling, I am not an english teacher, I am a car guy, if you'd like more discussion on spelling and grammer I suggest you look elsewherehttp://www.google.com/search?h...ell=1

and if it makes you feel better, here is the spell check version of my post, you'll notice mostly corrected mis typing

I've received comments on my lack of complete sentences, mis typing, etc. I just don't get worked up about it

*weird thing I've noticed, my left hand tend to type faster than my left so a lot of times my left hand will key a letter before the right hand can type the preceding letter*

I like to think people are more accepting of my errors because I don't get worked up when called on a error and I can usually answer their questions and less just because I'm a mod, you'll notice I do not participate in the gen chat area at all, I am a tech guy, I am far more interested in helping people find info than social chat, although I like to think even the tech areas are a social way of exchanging info and ideas

Keep in mind while my powers do work here, I defer to the Z33 mod, as I'd expect other mods to defer to my handling of the classic z section

Don't get worked up every time someone makes a joke at your expense or calls you out on an error, accept it and let it go, you have the power to keep these things from escalating by not responding to themBean has gone to bat for you, do him a favor and relax a little, it'll hurt less
