I'll probably be getting my Vert buttoned up, going on a junkyard run, and some yard work Saturday, only time to practice would be after 7pm or so.

I would rather not say what car I'll be using, but I don't want people to be using the same cars so here goes...

Mazda Furari. As for the time, it will be up to Biggie because I don't have work or school tomorrow.

I've got a weird one...my ps3 locks up in the same spot with the Toyota gt1???!!! Right near the end of the last turn...trying a different car now.

I think it may have something to do with my ghost car...

I have to work so I can't race but I quickly tested a few cars to see what kind of times I could get.
Anyone tried the Ford GT LM Race Car Spec II? I got 1:57 pretty consistently with it.
The Zonda R I could get 1:56.8xx but its squirrely. I think in a long race I would loose it a couple of times.
I gave the Furai a try with hard tires and got about a 2:00 each lap.

1:57 is great! But remember the restrictions state that Racing Medium can be used.

I tried my Zonda R for a few laps...forget that car! Way too loose in the rear.

As for my times, I have 5 out of 9 cars in the 1:54s and 1 car almost 1:53! The most surprising was my 2009 GT-R Spec V ran a 1:54.875!! Probably won't use is because it's just too heavy and I'm sure it would eat up tires. My Furai was one of the slowest...but I don't think I had it dialed-in properly. I need to try my Ford GT...

FYI, I confirmed that the game was freezing up as soon as my ghost car passed the finish line. Probably a corrupted ghost car file. So if it happens to anyone else, it's not your PS3 ;)

Holy crap, 1:54s... I need to go back to the drawing board...

Glad your PS3 is working, I would hate for some one being overtaken to freeze up and blame his or her loss on a freezing PS3 :gapteeth:

ya it scared me! It was doing it every time I loaded that ghost car because it was the fastest. I still see some glitching with ghost cars every now and then...for instance, sometimes after the ghost car goes over the finish line, the map all of a sudden pops it back in near the last turn stopped?? So, I'm not using that feature anymore. It's good enough if you keep track of your times then use the ghost car that loads on a clean lap.

I'll be on tonight if you guys want to do a few practice runs. I'd like to see how strict the shortcut penalty is...I'm getting nailed on the chicane that doesn't feel like a shortcut.

Congrats to all those NICOnauts that showed up on Sunday!

Joe squeezed the 1st place trophy and earned him self a 24ticket, it could be either a Ferrari F1 a GT F1. It wasn't bad at all, I was expecting miserable racing because it was 25 laps but nope, it was awesome sauce. We need more NICO member to show up though...

Any who, here is this weeks race:
In honor of 2nd race of the 2011 F1 race in Thailand...

Formula2 Championship

dam just 3 of you guys?! Sorry I couldn't show. I was completely unprepared as it was and I would've had to run out in the middle of the time frame anyways.

Will try to make the F2 challenge. I have a big sidejob that I will probly have to pull off this weekend but I will try and finish that saturday. depending on weather and part availablilty

Don't think you can gift the R390...it's well over the 1 million $ cutoff. I know I just saw that Road going version Nismo GTR... :(

So far it looks like late Saturday.

What do you guys think about allowing randoms from online to enter our races? I really appreciate the support from the usuals but 3 or 4 people isn't enough.

I know what you mean. I have school but no curriculars and even that is tough to juggle

Well what usually happens is that we select times and dates based on when you guys can make it. I don't ever remembering you posting your availability. Give it a shot!?

Has any one practiced Cape Ring Periphery? Holy crap that's fun! :woot:

Ok...the is a HUGE difference between the practice tracks and the event tracks. The car feels totally different. By lap 4 on trail mountain the car is damn near uncontrollable. It's to the point of not being fun...I think we should turn off tire wear or this one will be ugly. Maybe even allow medium tires...

So what time is the race? Just finished eating at the varsity...way overrated

If it is happening tonight I hope I find out in time. Gotta cook dinner in a little while then TV time, so I'll try to check back in around 7pm to see if a time is set.
