i got beat by an old lady and then she laughed

ya so we both make right turns (she was in front of me) and i'm like "sweet an SRT8 charger, i wonder if they're down to go"... pull up next to it at a red light and i'm like oh, its just an old lady.... light turns green and she takes off hella fast! so i'm like ok and open my exhaust cut-out (i know, that makes it so much worse lol) and messed around with the SRT8 in manual mode.... we stop at another red light and i build up RPMs to launch it and she gets ready, light turns green and all i see are tail lights lol

in my defense, my tires are super bald.... when we took off, my car was soooooo slow off the line! then it got faster but by that time she already let off..... i think thats also why i did bad at the track the other night.... my ending MPH was higher then i ever got but my 60 ft was worse then i ever got...... well, here are pics of my bald stock tires i'm rolling on (pics taken with my new phone)

i think the factory alignment is screwed up because the only part of the tire that gets worn out is the side and that has no tred left of it

So you dont have the eibachs...

I looked at your pics and first thing i thought was your alignment was off.

What the heck is going on with that.

idk..... my suspension stuff is 100% stock..... i mean i did do some burn outs and killed the tires a little but its the way they got worn out..... the rest of the tire isnt too bad, just the edge is 100% bald.... after i get the Eibachs i'm definitely getting an alignment

SRT8 LOL ... my 300 had 425 HP and some 515 torque. Now they have the same specs. My girl raced her new 3.5 against a Jeep SRT8 ... to the same outcome.

What did you expect ?

do you like to take turns at high speed? because that's what those tires look like when you do 90 degree turns at 90mph :p

aside from the 2 times i went to San Francisco with it through the twisties, i dont do high speed turns.... i'm more about straight line performance. i mean its obvious i abused the tires BUT they should at least have even wear, not all worn out on one side. seems like Nissan messed up on the alignment for the car....

and ya i knew i was going to lose but i heard those things are as heavy as the Titanic so i was hoping it would just slowly pull ahead instead of blowing past me lol

Titanic heavy, with an engine to match. I miss the 300C, gorgeous. Check your alignment.

i have sort of like a "Y" pipe but one side is blocked off by the electronic exhaust cut-out..... so with the cut-out closed, it blocks one side of the "Y" pipe and the exhaust goes like normal (like stock... well i do also have exhaust on the car). then when i open the cut-out (from a switch mounted inside the car), the exhaust bypasses the muffler and pretty much runs straight piped.

srt8 rocks. I went to a dealer last week to look at one. So close to getting one.In reality though, I like the altima coupe all around better... but the power of the srt8 is ... phew.Any chance a turbo would smack it up?

The old ladys husband would have told you... "kid, there's no replacement for displacement", and sped off in his SRT10 Ram.

BTW alignment doesn't last forever. Go to Firestone and get a lifetime alignment so you can recheck your alingment every 6 months or so and not pay again. Make sure they give you the before and after printout. Maybe, while your there, get a set of BS Potenza RE760.
