Anyways, fast forward. I came across this `85 720:
and had to have it. But just like the `84 K.C. 25 years ago, I got bored with it and almost traded it off shortly after getting it but I got some wheels and lowered the front and done this and that to it and fell in love with it, again.
Over night it went from stock to this:
Now, back to the future lol. I was getting bored with this `85 I recently got but I wasn`t gonna get rid of it because of the fuel economy but the thrill was gone. Then I found some old aluminum saw blade wheels for $100 all of sudden life was breathed back into my li`l 720.

After a few turns of the 17mm open end and a loss of 1" in the back
One more thing. In mid `84 I got a wing for my K.C. but took it off prior to getting rid of it when I entered the Navy. I was able to locate that very same wing and now have it in my possession but it needs some work. So take a guess whats going on the bed of the li`l `85
I think these trucks look awesome with wings on em, kinda makes them look sporty
