Goodbye Nissan. Now with Zoom Zoom.

Since so many NICOclub staffers and members own a Miata, here's a spot to discuss the car Nissan wishes it had built!

What truly amazes me, is how great Gwatney Mazda has been to us. I am continually surprised by how well they understand customer service. Pam took the M2 over there the other day, as they gave us free car washes for the life of the car. The car wash wasn't working so Pam went in to tell them. They knew it was broken, so our salesman Greg and one of the techs from the shop washed it by hand. It is like night and day dealing with Gwatney and Dobbs. I'm glad to have the Versa back from Dobbs so I never have to deal with them again.

Same deal here. The customer service at the Mazda dealership was stellar. The CS at our Nissan dealership is very good still, but Mazda beats them on most everything (except the guy working the parts department. He's dumber than a box of hammers).

1-800-Nissan1 is what they tell us to tell people, but I haven't heard very many good things come from that, especially when it comes to the service department. Its sort of treated like its own separate entity.

IIRC, that hotline was setup for the soul purpose of improving Nissan's dealer ratings (which were dead last at the time). I know the dealer ratings have improved, but I'm not sure how much of it was because of that hotline...

Well, if the pathetic Twitter feature is any indication, it won't even be a manned line. On Twitter, all you get is an autoreply.

Nissan customers deserve better.

Put another way: Nissan doesn't deserve this club.

Autonation Nissan of Memphis continued their terrible customer service today. They woke me up at 6am to ask me why my Versa had been towed in to them... When I woke up enough to realize what was happening, I said "I don't own that car anymore." and her only reply was "Yeah, I was afraid of that." I said "I don't even live in Memphis anymore. It's 6am where I am." and she replies "Oh, I'm sorry." and hangs up the phone...

I'm getting a new phone number.

Autonation are the same a** clowns that own dobbs honda, so I'm not surprised. File a complaint with the BBB. That seems to be all they care about.

When I complained at the dealer last year they did nothing. I put a 1 star review on their Facebook page and now they want to talk to me about "ways to ensure a more positive experience with us moving forward." I told them
"There won't be another experience moving forward. I am not buying another Nissan, and if I do, it will be from a dealership that cares. When I complained at the dealership last year, nothing happened. When I decide to review you on Facebook, NOW you are concerned. No thank you. Too little, too late."

Well, they can start by sending you cold hard cash.
I always throw that out there. I'm not above bribes for a stupid facebook rating haha.
