Good price on DOHC?

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

Im just looking for recomendations on what i should pay for a KA24DE with about 75K on it. I need another engine to build up.

about 550-750. i paid 900 for my 00 with 500 miles on it... dude sold it to me low, the sticker price was 1100.

if you plan to rebuild it, i wouldnt worry so much about the mileage.

thats true too, but you can find a low mileage engine (pretty much complete) for less than the price of a rebuild.

i payed 950 for mine with 34000 miles. prices are going down because of the SR

not entirely, the fact that the sr isnt a drop-in, keeps it at bay... at least its not a drop-in on an altima.

im gettin a totally rebuilt one for 1000, thats with my new pistons an rings put in, an oil pan tapped :)

I got mine for 400...110,000 miles, and tested to make sure it ran well...it was PERFECT too...then I tore it down to bare block for the rebuild:D
