I like Graveworm ok, nothing I'd listen too all day but good none the less.

Sonata Arctica is touring in the US again... too bad the opening act is Dragonforce

Poor Sonata, I'd really like to hear a FULL set by them at some point in my life.

ugh, Dragonforce. I liked the 1st listen of their stuff, then it got really old fast.

Dream Theater has a new album this month. Can't wait to hear it. Also I'm getting Black Label Society tickets tonight for next month. I've never seen Zakk live, hoping he plays as good as his cds sound

I actually just made a thread about this album - I think it's quite amazing...

The Count of Tuscany is quite possibly one of my most favorite songs of all time at this point - it's so beautifully played and executed, and it is an amazing capstone song to a stellar album.

You better believe I'm going. 5 or 6 of the bands I've mentioned in this thread are there.

GWAR is a good metal band, the best thing about GWAR is that they are real, those aren't costumes.

oh my.. I opened this thread expecting the usual... Bam first word on the post, Misery Signals

Everything by Misery Signals is beast (well mirrors and Controller). I saw them live a few weeks ago, they were SO good! Haste The Day also played and they sounded amazing. A good show for sure.

Here is the Bands im into (some of you might not count them as metal,I do...)-Misery Signals(seen live)-Protest The Hero-The Devil Wears Prada-As I lay Dying-Cancer Bats(seen live)-A Day To Remember(kinda iffy)-Dead and divine(seen live)-Evergreen Terrace-From Autumn To Ashes-My Children My Bride-Sky Eats Airplane- OLD Underoath-Haste The Day(seen live)

As you can tell, that's more "metal core" than straight metal and black metal.

Well that's not very nice. Disturbed sucks, but we all had those bands that we're ashamed to admit that we once liked...

I'm back!

I stumbled across a band called Broadcast the Nightmare a week ago, and I've been listening to them a lot. Their first album Twenty Twelve was released earlier this year. It's good.
