Just bought a 2003 350z Touring with 80k miles, what's a good after market extended warranty company? There are plenty of internet scams out there.

I have been a customer of WarrantyByNet.com, but now I have NissanExtendedWarranty.com.

So far, so good. Reputable and well worth the money.

not too many of them out there with high milage as yet, but the ones I've seen don't seem to discount the price much because of it, I sway skip teh warranty and add a pair of big turbo's

Taliban, the car runs smooth, the previous owner pampered the hell out of it. I got it for $15,500

The question is how much will it cost you to restore [to like new performance] the car at 100K and maintain it until 200,000 miles .................

Things like HVAC, alternator, rad, suspension [shocks et al], fuel pump, and transmission and maybe driveshaft, wheel bearings, valve train shims, etc, etc.

There is an acurarial reason why legitimate companies don't cover beyond 100k.Unfortunately more than half the premium goes to sales expense.

Only Nissan can WARRANTY a Nissan, every other [non Nissan] insurance policy is called a vehicle service contract
