When they blow, I'm going to drive past you, on my coilovers, point, laugh, and scrape frame away.

Sweet, look at the spray paint chipping off of them. QUALITY.

So what I've gathered so far is: he's experimenting as to how long it will take for these to blow and he'll have to drop money new coils. I like this experiment.

good luck with your ongoing review...

imo, the size of those front pistons look like a joke to me.

I'm moving this to the suspensions forum though.

You know they are godspeed when they are brand new and the paint is chipping off.

The thing I dont like about these or any coils of the type.... 0 preload.

sorry guys for the lack of updates ive been really busy and internet has been down, Fios=fail

so you guys got to my first complaint before i did, the paint. I called godspeed to talk to them about the quality and they said that shouldnt happen and told me they would replace any coil that the paint is chipping, and all i had to do was pay to send back.

I had a pretty pleasant ride on my way to englishtown except when i got a little air over a little bridge about 3 miles away from the track. My rb also got very hot while waiting to get inside so i know have a mishimoto rad and 3 fans on the way along with a cooling panel.

The only real problem i have with the coils is that the dampening can not be adjusted on the rear coils if you have the full interior in your car.

but here is how i break it down

0-30mph-can feel every bump40-50mph-feels good50-60mph-feels good no bouncy at all60-70mph-normal70-80mph-normal80-110mph-ehh (mostly because i need a alighnment)

i also picked up one of these going to paint it purple and weld it and hopefully get out to july night moves wish me luck

Yup thats exactly what im thinking.I need some replacement coils for the front of my car, and i dont feel like spending too much right now, as im building up another car.

I just dont want the car to look lopsided towards the back, i needed to see how low the fronts actually go.

So rob if you could id love to see the fronts at their lowest possible setting whenever you get the chance. Thanks

i have the original godspeed rs's on my s14 and they suck balls. they have sagged alot since i bought them and the rear doesn't go any lower than 1.5" off my tires. The are squeaky and not dampening adjustable. Waste of $580

That's like as low as my... Tokico blues and Tanabe gf210 combo, lol. And no I didn't buy them. Got it when I bought the car.

Hurry up and get your wheels on. I want to see how much slam does Godspeed have under it's navel.

I commend you for pioneering the use of Godspeed coils on NICO.

The stance isnt half bad, people are calling this stock ride height? look on the first page, where he has before and after pics, youll see what stock ride height is.

Cars looking clean too, cant wait to see it on the fat wheels.
