There are aftermarket exhausts available, check with some of the NICO sponsors. "Glass packs" are a term from the 50's, 60's, 70's & 80's. You want a Cat back or something similar to maintain the necessary emmissions.

no, i mean the actual glass pack muffler, does it not meet emmission standards? because there are plenty of places that sell them, http://www.flopro.com/GlassPack.htm and they give a little increased flow in the exhaust, so thats always nice, what exactly is a "cat back" exhaust though, what defines that

"Catback" = everything from the CAT BACK.

Includes resonators or pre-mufflers, Y-pipe, and rear muffler.

If you wanted to have your entire exhaust sytem redone, sure you could do glass packs.

But they're old-school technology, they DO NOT increase flow - they flow for crap, and they break down rapidly.

The Nismo exhaust sounds a lot like that.

Get under your car and look at the exhaust configuration, it'll make more sense then.

yeah thechronic. the glass packs would sound good say on a....1970 Chevelle 454ss,but on a 2003 infiniti g35, it's just two different worlds. You are going to want to look at a link gwhizz put up with the exhaust clips in it. it's in the stickied forums or just ask him to tell you where it's at. I think it's g35turbo.com and they have an exhaust clip section. Goodluck.
