General CA/Silvia questions

hey all. first post here, i used to be a member back when the site was still nissaninfiniticlub.org, for those who remember, so i hope i see a few familiar names here. I am going to buy a 1990 Sylvia K's, and I had a few questions about it. First and foremost, what does the "k's" stand for? I know of a guy around here that has a sylvia "q's" whats that about? Second, are they equiped with an internal or external wastegate, and how easy/hard and expensive is it to add a boost controller? Is there a BOV stock? and is there anything i should do to it immedietly after i buy it reliability or aftermarket wise? Thanks all.

take a look around my website, http://www.ca18det.org , I think I answer all those questions and more The only one I don't really talk about is the wastegate, and the stock one is internally gated, and yes a boost controller is easy to install on it. Just put it in between the vaccum signal and the wastegate.

Take some time to search though the old threads and read the FAQ's at the top of the page, as this stuff has been covered ALOT. Welcome to the CA forum (welcome back to Nico too!)
