Gas smell from engine

Replaced fuel pump & filter 2 weeks ago on my 92 Q45, all went well & no leaks. This morning, went to start the car and smelled strong gas fumes in the engine compartment. Looked at all fuel connections I could see, looked under the car for leaks and found nothing. Are the injectors leaking down overnight and causing this? The car runs great and I don't smell anything while I'm driving. I've owned the car for over 3 years and it has 143K miles on it. Thoughts?

The fuel lines under the plenum are dried and shrunken. Time to pull off the plenum and pay some dues. Replace all the rubber under there so you don't have to do it again.
