If you come here and get it I'll let you borrow one of mine, but I don't have any gas to drive anywhere, haha

Today has not went well! First I blew the fuse to my GPS, no big deal. So I took apart my center console to clean while I waited for someone to bring me another fuse, glad I did because they didn't get here until after dark leaving me to put everything back together in the dark. Then I get my s*** back together and the shift knob will not go on. I think the damn shifter somehow got stripped, I don't know how because it was not stripped when I took it off. I figure I will take care of it in the morning when I have light even though I have no idea how to fix this problem and I go to start the car... I had to fight and fight to get it to catch. Didn't want to start and doesn't want to start now.

So yeah, in short today sucked!

Hey Jimmy did you ever sell those wheels? If you're just looking for something a little less aggressive I have 17x9 mustang fr500 wheels that we could work something out on, if you're interested. Let me know.

No I haven't sold them. I actually just put a new pair of tires on them. I'm still kinda up in the air about what I want to do with them at the moment but I'll let you know.

On another note does anyone have any toe rods they wanna sell?

But why! It's such a good color. I got stuck with red because I needed a car and it is what I could find. To be honest I hate red. Anyway beautiful car and good luck, I'm sure it will be easy to sell.

How do you tell if your tie rod end is shot? I have a funny noise coming from the front drivers side and and the car started pulling to one side. I think it may be bad but not sure.

For one I'm trying to figure out if my tie rod end is bad or not. I have a crunching kind of noise coming from the front drivers side when I break to a stop. I have the tie rod end that I bought a while back when someone told me it would need to be replaced eventually but want to be sure before I tackle teaching myself how to change it. I hear it is a PITA.

Second I was wondering if I can change my springs without a spring compressor or if I really need one to switch them out.

Third I was wondering where in town to get a good alignment that won't molest my wallet.

Last I was wondering if I can get a 215/50/17 on my s14 with a 2" drop without my wheel wells rubbing or having to roll the fenders. I figure it should be fine but again I wanted to make sure before I buy the wrong tires.

You should totally use a spring compressor tool. I saw a video of someone on youtube disassembling a strut set up just a wrench b/c the compressor tool didn't fit; the strut shot a couple feet back and the spring shot like 50 feet in the other direction. It was pretty crazy.

Thanks for the link! That was fun to watch, I was thinking it was a bad idea to not use a spring compressor. My father in law keeps saying it would be fine as long as I put my weight on it. lol I think he is trying to kill me. I'm going to make him watch that video.
