not much happened. although when all the ricers were leaving to go race or whatever, a few of them almost hit each other. i was hoping it would happen. but iti didnt.... does that make me a bad person? lol

^^ what she said.. it was kinda dead after the ricers left.. but still kinda funny.. and i also ran the other red spec.. i beat him from a 1st gear pull but he beat me on a 3rd gear pull on the highway.. my car has issues..

so i know how forums can be watched authoritative figures but Id like to get some days where we can meet up and go drive on some of those private roads.

Im trying to figure out a good way that we communicate publicly with out having outsiders see what were talking about.

The only thing I can think of is an email listing. If anyone is interested in this or has any other suggestions lmk.

I have plenty of server space I could donate to the cause. I run a few other forums & websites and am always more than willing to help out.

Not gonna lie, that would be hella' tight. A gainesville S-chassis-only forum password protected where we could organize stuff. I'd be willing to throw a few bucks your way to get a forum that doesn't suck like this NICO bulls*** that doesn't even have PM's.

How hard would it be to set up a super basic VB forum based site?

As Clawhammer said, it would be pretty easy to do. If you want a domain for the site I can add domains to my servers for $10 a year, like I said I would be happy to donate the server space & or work.

I have free VBB forums included with my server space, that has private messaging and all of that.

On the alternate, you could go with a proboards forum if you don't need a domain name. The forums are free, they work, private messaging and all just an advertisement on the top I think.

Both can be set to private invitation only and can be password protected. Both have live chat also.

cool so theres definitely some interest. Im down to set up a private forum where we can discuss these things. I guess lets just find out what info we need to get it going and lets get this ball rolling.

I found a little road today out in the middle of nowhere. nothing special but definitely something to play around on. Just not alot of room for error cuz the whole road has a ditch on the side of it...

$10 a year if we want a domain name with the site hosted on one of my servers (you know a http://www.whatever.com). The domain name would need to be picked. Also a site name. That would get us started. If you don't want a domain name you can get a proboards forum for free, a few ads but not too annoying. It would save about $10 a year but they have rules... (not that rules are often followed) I guess a VBB forum would be more private in theory.

Whatever you guys want to do if I can help I would be happy. Since my surgery to fuse my neck back together I can't do s*** with cars, and I really want to. This would give me a way to help out when I can't to the strong arm part.

Hello all..my name is David and I recently moved to gainesville (sw archer rd) from kissimmee. I currently have a ford but all my previous cars have been nissans (z31 300zx and my recent 240sx that I had to get rid of). I really don't know any1 out here so I think this would be the best way to meet people with similar interests. So I was wondering what are the local hangouts and if u guys have any weekly meets.
