GA16DE pooped out, KA24DE?

The GA16DE in my B13 engine is just terrible, and it is just about to go, if it hasn't already. My dad picked up a 94 Altima with a FWD KA24DE which had been wrecked in the back, and the engine and everything is still fine. Is it possible to swap the KA into a B13? I know it isn't popular, and I could do the SR swap easier, and it would yield better output, but I don't care about that. I just want something that runs, and the KA would be an upgrade from my stock GA, anyways. Has anybody heard of this being done?

I have not heard of this being done. Probably cause the cost of getting it to fit (new mounts, wiring harness etc.) hasn't been worth the effort in lieu of swapping with a direct replacement GA or an SR20DET as an upgrade.

Avoid that if you're not the builder and/or you don't have gobs of $$$ to toy with. Don't know if you're after performance or just an upgrade, but if it is an upgrade you're after, just grab you an SR20; which will still require parts and $$$.

Yeah if you've got fabrication skills (and time), you can probably get it to work. You'll have to rape/pillage/plunder all your stuff from the donor Altima though.
