g37 maybe

was checking out some of your pics on here and your cars look great,i am putting a bid in on a g37 on ebay.i havent drove one yet,so is there going to be that much of a power differance between my car and a g37?

In a word, yes. You will notice that the main difference between the Altima and G37 is the Altima uses a CVT transmission, while the G37 is a 7-speed. Personal preference is the key here...I hate CVT transmissions whereas others prefer them because of an extra 1-2 mpg. Also, the G37 engine has significantly more HP (over 60), so it will be faster. Finally, the G37 is RWD based (AWD is an option), so it will feel more like a true sports car.

i dont have a cvt, i have the mt 6 speed,what is the hp on the g37 ithought it was like 306, maybe thats the g35

G37 coupe is 330hp, IPL coupe is 348hp, sedan is 328hp, and convertible is 325hp

306hp is the 2007-2008 G35 sedan with the VQ35HR motor

I test drove an Altima before I bought my G37. Believe me, there is a HUGE SOTP difference. The Altima is a nice car, but the G is a cut above.

i drove the Altima and Liked it, I drove a G and Loved it!

way more power, better fit and feel, better handling, I hate FWD...

with that said if i had to get rid of my G37 for a non-luxury brand, id be happy with a 3.5SE Altima.
