Just got a new G37 2012 Convertible, and LOVING it. Set up the memory seats as best as I could, but cannot find a way to get the seats to automatically slide back and the steering wheel to go back up for easy exiting.

There is a way to have the seat reverse when the car is turned off, so it is easy to get out, right?

Help the new guy out!

Thanks

There is no exit feature on the coupe unless they have changed since 08. What you do is program the 1 memory button for your driving position and the 2 button for all the way back and up for exit. It sucks but apparently there is concern for people in the back seat. :gotme

I don't see why these settings would not be available on the coupe. You need to get into the menu screen and find the options for "convenience". There should be options to turn on options to move seat back upon exit and raise steering wheel.

Pippen90 - Great suggestion, and might be the one I use!

Red_DET - I agree that it is weird. Checked "convenience", but nothing about the seat. Who cares about the people in the back seat anyway!

I'm not so much worried about the people, but if you had something behind the seat, I have the seat function turned off. Was there anything about the steering wheel at least?

If there is an extry/exit system like you want, I don't know about it. The best I can suggest is that you read the owner's manual throroughly. A shortcut is to download the all of the manuals from Infiniti's web site. (Look in the Ownership tab.) They are all pdf files which you can search for key words.

On the sedan with NAV you set it via the "settings" menu. There are separate options for the steering wheel and seat. Not sure about the coupe since my coupe does not have Nav.

Our sedan doesn't have NAV either and settings are the same place yours are on your sedan.

Checked the 2012 convertible, and that option under settings is not available (steering wheel and seat). Sounds like Pippen90 have the best workaround suggestion. thanks for all of the posts and feedback.
