New convertible owner here with a question I couldn't answer by searching the topics.
Why is the auto transmission in my convertible so different from the G37 base sedans I've driven. I have noticed the sedans exhibiting some of the behaviour I've seen criticized in reviews - slow to react / shift, etc. By contrast, my convertible transmission shifts with rapidity and is not a letdown in any way at all.
I've yet to really pay much attention to the paddle shifters, since I've always been of the opinion that the third pedal is half of what makes a manual fun.
Any answers greatly apprreciated.
Thanks!
