g35 vehicle dynamic control sign came on!!! help please

i have an 03 g35 sedan i have a vehicle dynamic control (vdc) problem on it i belive my cars in limp mode. the engine doesnt give power and the car only goes up to 30km/h. can anyone give me some information relating this. either tell me how much it will cost me or tell me if i am able to fix it my self.

Welcome to NICO! Sorry you're having trouble with you car. Anything recently happen to the car? (Accident, mods, anything)

Limp mode is not necessarily caused by the VDC system; the VDC may be a symptom of a larger issue. You should take it to a dealer to scan the ECU...they have tools to diagnose that other mechanics might not have.

thanks! no car has never been into accident and no mods either.

yea i took it to my regular mechanic and he says its the throttle cable problem and he says i can only get that fixed through the dealership.

Not throttle cable. Actually it is TPS (throttle position sensor). I would have it repaired at dealership.

If your mechanic said it was a throttle cable, you need to go somewhere else!!! These cars are drive by wire.
