G35 Coupe front Window Auto Reverse and Auto Adjust screwing up

Hey guys, I am just seeing if anyone had the same problem before.

The front driver side window of my G35 starting a few days ago has problems with the Automatically Up feature. It'll go all the way up, close, then go back down half way. I read the manually and apparently there's an auto reverse function?? I don't know if it's that opening my window.

Then also, the auto adjustment feature, where when you open the door the window will scroll down a little bit and then back up when it closes, stopped workign on my driver side.

Anyone had similar problems? any fixes? bring it into the dealer? my car is a 2004 G35 Coupe at 78,000KM. Is this under warranty?

i dont know what 78 km is cause us in the states are retarts but its a 4yr warranty

When I had my G35, it had this problem. The dealer indicated that it was either the power window motor or just an adjustment needed. check your manual to determine what the warranty period is in Canada. If you need to get the window up and closed beforeyou get a chance to fix this, don't engage the auto-up eature or hold the window switch up for a couple of seconds after it stops. It worked for me.

I think i know what's wrong. Two weeks before this happened, I brought it into the dealer to fix a "loose motor" for the window or something. So they probably screwed up.

I have same problems. 5 months ago it kept doing that closing opening thing also then my motor died on me. so i took it to the dealer and replaced it. just a few days ago it started again i am gonna brake that window. Its when the dealer installs a motor in the window it needs to be adjusted . but it gets off justment because that front rubber brakes (were your LT side mirror is at) and it goes a little higher then it should.

if it goes up then comes back down..the motor is bad

and the height of the window is adjustable
