Car: Infiniti G20 1992 and 1995

I have a 1995 G20. The tach needle goes very erratic and then stops and does not work. Any suggestions as to what I can do to repair this?

Have you tried pulling the gauge cluster out and checking the connection?

Just a heads up as well... the spelling of the car you own ends in "i".
