I bought a 2000 infiniti g20 lately. But it suddenly won't start up one fine morning. It drove without any flaws earlier. The mechanic mentioned that it was a problem with the starter and changed it. After that he mentioned that the fuel pump isn't working as the engines are not getting any fuel. Manual fuelling would start it though; so changed the fuel pump. Still it's not running. What he says now is that the injectors are not firing/opening due to some reason. He checked the computer and says that there are no hotspots. He has no clue other than just experimenting why the injector isn't opening. Again, manual fueling will start it. I am severely confused what to do and need some help from you guys! Please help. Thanks

I also have a 2000 G20. Never again. I "understand" the 2002 G20 ironed out the issues with this car. You may have to go to an infinity dealer. Apparently ( As I was told) the Nissan dealers cannot get a computer read, even though it's a SEntra. UN-sure though. Give it a shot. Big problem were 1998-2000. http://consumerguideauto.howst...2.htm

Have you tried pulling the codes from the ecu yourself. There is a diagnostic check screw on the back of the ecu. In the OP's case, he may have a bad ecu. It seems obvious that the injectors aren't firing for some reason and the ecu controls that parameter.
