g20 speedometer dead

Ok, so I was planning to change the dash lights in my p10. I changed them although they weren't as bright as i wanted them to be. So I pulled the speedometer needle and there was a copper spring behind the needle. I tried to put it back together like I took it out. Now my speedometer needle is stuck at 0 and doesn't budge. Any advices? other than to change the cluster out? Thanks.
