My high pressure Power Steering Hose has a leak in it. Turn the steering wheel left or right, squirts across the manifold and engine. Smokes!!
I ordered a remanufactured hose from NAPA for $46 bucks. Mechanic said it's little more than three hours labor to replace.
I noticed the original Power Steering Hose has a small strip of metal extending from the banjo attachment. I doubt if the remanufactured will have the same. Is that a problem?
By removing the passenger side tire, is it possible to reach the hose attached at the power steering pump? I don't have a lift, is it better to have a mechanic do it??
Thanks, Mark
