2014 Rogue Select - got a new 215/70 tire put onto a stock 16x6.5 steelie for a full-size spare. Pulled the little package tray and everything fits in the rear... except that the wheel hold down is just a touch too short now. I know that some models come with a full-size spare, so is there a different part number for that hold-down bolt? My Google-fu is weak when it comes to finding one. Anyone with a full-size spare able to grab the P/N off your hold down? Or anyone who has changed over have any insight?

How would the wheel be retained with the long bolt? I was looking at coupling nuts and all-thread at Home Depot to just "extend" the factory hold down, but I figure why bubba a new car when there's a (hopefully-inexpensive) factory part?

remove the cap from the current rod, and put it on the new rod.

Okay, there's the disconnect... My cap appears to have been injection molded around the current bolt.

Worth a shot, see if the dealer can compare the length and thread diameter of 74810-JY01A vs 74810-JY02A. I believe the JY02A might be what you need.

Appreciate the part numbers. I ended up fabbing up an extension with a coupling nut and 100mm threaded rod. Not only worked, but let me mount it right side up.

No sub here. That does look like a pretty slick OEM setup, in the spare, though.
