The local garage changed the pump out,the old pump had 28psi coming out when I need 60 psi.It ran fine for them when they test drove it but as soon as the gave the car back the check engine came back on and the car would stall and die.You could start it back up and it would idle fine but as soon as you take it on the road and give it gas it would die again. The garage took the car back in and they had another code that came up that said the ECM needed to be cleared and that the dealer had to do it.So they tow it to the closest Infiniti dealer and they said the mass airflow sensor was bad also which damaged the fuel pump.I think there full of sh*t.The car runs good for a day and then check engine light comes back on.The car runs at an idle fine but on the road as soon as you give it gas it lundges 3 to 4 times. It finally catches like it gets gas, runs for 500 feet and dies. You can put it in neutral start it right back up and it will do the same thing.I think it a bad brand new fuel pump they put in because you can turn the key on and the pump does not sound healthy. So now the car is back at the garage and I told the guy what I heard.I asked him if they did put a new filter on when they put the pump in and he said no.So what do you think the problem could be.
