I'm attempting the fuel pump replacement today. I've read the posts in the forum, but none mention difficulty in removing the rear seat back. I can't seem to get the rear setback to come out - it seems to be hung in the middle/top. I've unscrewed the 4 phillips screws. Am I missing something? Any help is appreciated!Patrick

You're missing the 2 screws behind the armrest back. The back panel behind the armrest slides up, then pivots out at the bottom. It's hung on metal hooks. Get those 2 and you're golden.

The seat back too is hanging on hooks. Lift up and then pull it away to free it. Just move it forward out of the way--no need to remove the seatbelts.

Thanks for the help. I managed to get the pump out yesterday but realized that I didn't order a new o-ring. I think I'll wait until tomorrow before I put it back together so I can pick up a new one. That will give me time for the fuel filter and oil change today. BTW - that parcel shelf was a pain!
