Hi all, So recently my Z had some weird issues where it would run fine for a while, I think i drove around 30 miles on a cold day. after a while, the car would try to stall in the freeway or even in the street and then die. I would try to turn it on, it cranks but no start. If i wait for the car too cool down long enough, it would work again. Anyone know if its the fuel pump? or how to tackle this? Thanks

Have you checked the ECU codes yet?

Check codes and work from there until and if you get no results, then ask about alternatives.
I had a similar issue with my PTU harness connectors where they would get hot from the added resistance of the huge corrosion issue always present there, and the only solution (temporary, always needs attention) is new connectors and a relocate, and more attention each driving season. IACV and connectors can also present issues, as well as fuel injector harness and connectors, and also a strange fuel pump controller issue I just red about on the main page and I have also had issues with (fuel pump noise) despite replacing the pump. LOTS of stuff to check and test.
The online service manual has a lot of tests and such for these problems, the only real DIY solution I have found other than just going over EVERYTHING and cleaning, repairing, replacing.

Thanks for the replies. I did check codes and nothing wrong. No engine light and when I checked I still got the code 55. So all fine there. How do I check if its my PTU thats wrong? Also, my floater or w.e system this car uses to read the amount of gas does not work either. I can have a fuel tank and it will say i have 1/4th or even Empty.

I test drove it around the block. When you put the car on ACCL you hear the fuel pump work right? well for some reason it was doing that who noise during driving, as if the fuel pump was being turned on and off
