What else do you have in your fuel setup? pump, injectors? what about air? Got anything to maintain the right ratios? We need to know more about your setup...

If you have very good adjustability (standalone), the stock one should work fine. Otherwise, you might need something with a little adjustability. I'm using the stock one, so I can't help you there, but the Aeromotive Adj. FPR seems pretty popular.

I've got an AccuFab universal FPR. It seems to be working fine.

I'd say leave the stock one in parallel with an external aftermarket. There are many. Also, did you notice if you say your name its "boosted sucka"thats funny.

He meant the stock regulator...not the stock rail. And the 4 and 6 thing you were talking about...I'm assuming it meant the AN size for the inlet.

If you're running a JWT and an AFC, I don't see why you would need an aftermarket regulator. If the JWT is tuned for 400cc injectors, I'm assuming they did so with the stock fuel pressure in mind. Might want to find these things out. The AFC will be your source for adjustments, not the pressure.

You're losing me....

Are you saying you can't use the stock regulator because of the new fuel rail? Then make an adapter and put the stock one back on! Or figure out how big the new fuel rail outlet is and buy an aftermarket one to fit. Be more specific....what else do you need to know?

You had a new rail made....how are we supposed to know what will fit if it's a custom job? Get whoever made it to make you an adapter for the stock regulator.

It would have helped if you would have mentioned that earlier. I own two S14s, not an SOHC S13.

But, that still doesn't change the fact that I don't know what will fit, because your fuel rail is a custom piece. If you can't figure out what will fit or come up with a solution to a problem that should be fairly easy, maybe you shouldn't have turbocharged your vehicle.

Why not use the stock DOHC fuel pressure regulator? You can pick one up pretty cheap I bet. Also, metal can be cut...may not be the best idea to hack it off the stock fuel rail. I don't know because I've never seen one up close, but it's something to consider.

ok....I'm the only one who was trying though. And I did clear up the inlet confusion. At least I thought I did.

Yes, you made it very clear it was SOHC. That's not what I was saying.

I didn't know that the stock regulator was part of the fuel rail...you can take it off on the DOHC and I don't see why you couldn't on an SOHC because I've never looked. I was only saying that you should have made it clear you absolutely could not use the stock one. That was the source of all the confusion...no need to get upset and pissed off. I'm really trying to help.

I took my FPR off my rail on stock SOHC. Anyway whoever made your rail prolly tapped it for some kinda fittings (npt?) so call them up and find out. and then its just a matter of finding lines to attatch your fpr inline with that.and just so you know the new NHRA guildelines say you can't have more than 12" of rubber fuel hose in your system so it might be a good time to upgrade to stainless from your hard lines up.Besides, that 13 year old rubber hose is probably in bad shape ( I know mine is).
