I have an 05 Quest. What kind of fuel mileage should I be getting? Currently I'm at 17mpg and most of my driving is on the interstate, and I set my cruise control around 65. 17 might be normal, but google says it should be around 27 haha.

According to Fuelly.com the real world average is 18.18 combined city/highway, which is very close to the 19 claimed by Nissan for the EPA sticker. Your 17 overall is a little low, but not a lot.

Here's Why Your Mileage May Vary (A Lot) from the EPA Estimates

The only problem with the Monroney label today is that it’s practically meaningless.

“Actual results will vary for many reasons, including driving conditions and how you drive and maintain your vehicle,” says the label’s micro-print disclaimer. Meaning? All bets are off once you leave the dealership, especially if you drive on snowy mountain roads with tire chains, three kids, and five bags of rock salt in the trunk.

Only about 15 percent of the models on sale today are actually verified by EPA testing. For the rest, the government relies on the automakers’ own results.
At what speed does EPA test highway mpg?
Top Speed: 60 mph
Average Speed: 48.3 mph
Max. Acceleration: 3.2 mph/sec
