Fuel Injector Help

Hey guys I'm in search of some fuel injectors for my 1990 300ZX NA and I'm wondering what should I buy. A friend told me to never buy remanufactured because a part such as fuel injectors should be purchased new. What should I buy and has anyone had tried remanufactured injectors from a trusted resource?

Your best bet would be to get new or cleaned and flow tested used 94+ OEM injectors and buy the pigtail/adapter kit to fit your fuel rail (phase 2 injectors don't fit phase 1 rails and have different connectors). You could buy remans as long as they are OE spec remans made from OEM cores and are NOT redrilled.

Can a phase 2 rail be fitted to phase one era cars?? Just curious, I'll be doing injectors after I find a new intake to polish

No, the rail, injectors, and lower plenum are all different for Phase 2, the only way to run phase 2 injectors in a phase 1 plenum is to use the phase 1 rail and injector adapter kit to fit the phase 2 injectors in the phase 1 rail. you could change out the lower plenum to a phase 2 but apparently the intake runners don't match the phase 1 heads. I've never confirmed this but IIRC that is the reason that no one swaps the plenum,that and its much easier to just install the adapters.

Oh ok. Just out of curiosity sake has anyone done a flexfuel sensor on these cars??
