Can anybody tell me why my fuel gauge won't go up on it's own after filling up? It has happened the last few times I've filled up.

And yes, I've recently run it out of gas. Not intentionally though

Possibly a damaged level float. TSBs anyone?

Fuel level sender. There is a TSB but I don't have the number handy. Should be a 25060-ZS000 sender and a 17342-EA000 o-ring. Fairly common, but not nearly as bad as the ones on the Titan/Armada's.

If your vehicle is still under warranty, just take it to the dealership. They should keep the parts in stock.

TSB stands for Technical Service Bulletin. They catalog things that Nissan sees go wrong more then a few times and offers corrective procedures.
