Our Versa would throw a check engine light intermittently and the fuel gauge would peg to empty with the low fuel warning light illuminated. After a restart the gauge returned to normal.

Long story short:Fuel pump assy (Fuel level sensor part of pump) replaced under warranty. No problem since.

Long part of story: Had to wait 2 weeks for an o-ring that did not come with pump.

Moral of story: Definite fuel pump issues on the Versa.

How many miles are on the car? I haven't heard about this particular set of symptoms.

Did you drive it for the two weeks after they diagnosed the problem and were waiting on the parts? Just wondering if there were any driving, starting, running issues that you noticed?

20,000 milesI found out about the issue on the Rogue forums. The Rogue actually has a TSB against it. Yes we drove it. It drove normally. We had to keep an eye on mileage/fill-ups because we would put gas in the tank and 3 days later it would peg to empty again. PITA
