The limiting factor on the VH is the length and diameter/taper of the oem intake runner which are tuned for oem cam and 5,500-6,000 rpm. Using shorter runners allows the HP to be only limited by the internals.

Something ~~ 4" shorter would retune peak to 7500 rpm boosting HP by 20%.............obviously the low and mid rpm torque would fall at least 10%.

why aren't you keeping the heads and cams along with the supercharger?

why just go supercharger alone?

4 years of lurking, saving money, and looking for a good donor car. I think i'm actually going to get this project underway in the upcoming year.

picked up a slicktop with a dead motor thats just begging for a VH to be dropped in.

i still have them, they are in a box in my garage. I would be interested in selling them but for ALOT closer to what i paid for them ie 2200.00. Im not desperate for money and not in a hurry to use them so theyve been sitting in bubble wrap for almost 2 years now.
