...and tail lights are not working. I replaced the bulbs this morning and that wasn't the issue. ALl the other lights work. The fuse is good. Should I automatically assume it is the brake switch? Any advice is appreciated as I HATE wiring and all the relays, switches, and etc that go with it. Thanks!

Brake switch usually ties into the park release switch on automatics. So if you can shift out of park with your foot on the brake, you're PROBABLY good on the brake switch front. But I'm not at all sure if there's only one sensor for both functions on the Frontier.

Our truck is a manual. Also, we checked the brake switch and the ABS switch, both are good. Greg found an inline fuse that was bad that he replaced so we now have taillights but no brake lights still.

Frontier is fixed. Turns out the Frontier has FOUR FREAKING FUSE BOXES. I missed the one in the glove box. I am ashamed to admit it but I don't know a lot about this truck because I have never had to do anything to it. Time to get out the manual, pop the hood, and start edumacating myself.

LOL
Yeah, I don't know anything on our same year Pathfinder.
We've never had to mess with much.
190k+ miles and zero leaks, drives like new!

New cars scare me. I like working on our old Datsuns. They're nice and simple, not too much going on. You have room for tools AND your arms. I open the hood of the Frontier and just shake my head. It might as well be the engine compartment of the Starship Enterprise.

Exactly what I was thinking, plus, BOTH tail lights and brake lights were out. Glad it all got sorted out!

Jaguar hasn't listed what the fuses go to on the back of the fuse panel for a while now. I find it irritating I need a schematic to tell me which fuse to check.

What blew the fuses? Bad/wrong tail light bulbs??

We think it might have something to do with the trailer.
