I want to ask this question here before I go back to the dealership.
Brand new Nissan Murano 2017.5. 2 weeks old.
Parked at the airport, snow storm, so when we returned, 6" of snow on the car / ice. (Atlanta GA)

We run the defroster, scrape off ice and water droplets formed on the inside of the windshield.
Ruined a shirt to wipe it off while driving in order to see better.

Never happened to me before (30+years of driving) Maryland / Ohio and Georgia

I assume something is wrong with windshield / proper seal?

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Or let me know if this is common.
Thanks.

It is normal for condensation to form for several seconds until enough heat builds in the blower output and glass to then lift the condensation. The blower output begins as cold air but the glass is colder being one side of it is exposed to the outside. All cars here in Texas do it due to the usually high humidity.

If the problem seems to stay around too long then a leaking heater core possible. If so though one should smell the sweet smell of antifreeze. The a/c compressor should be on in defrost, that can cause the normal stuff too until the heater warmth overrides it. Maybe a leaky HVAC door?
