What happened was, I stopped into Midas for their special 20 dollar oil change.

I know, it was stupid, and I usually don't do that. They told me the rubber boot was tearing and sooner or later I'd need new shocks. But the car drives very well, and, as I mentioned earlier, I'm no hell driver. I do, however, need new tires soon. So then I'll replace the boot, and certainly have the struts checked by a suspension guy I trust.
Alignment is good because tires are wearing evenly.
What other maintenance do struts need? Adjustments?
