i have read that the 03-04 models have a problem with the factory front end geometry causing excessive tire wear. was this problem fixed on the 05 and newer models? my 05 seems to wear pretty evenly. still has about 50% rubber. (this car ROCKS)

I believe they fixed it from 2004.5 and up.

It had nothing to do with geometry. It was related to the alignment. More specifically the toe setting.

I was told it has to do with how the early z was shipped to the US. They are loaded on a cargo ship, tied to the deck. The early models were secured too tight, pulling the alignment out, and sometimes even bending suspension components.
