HI all
I'm about to replace the u joints on the front shaft of my 02 Qx4 and having a hard time navigating what joints to buy. I want to buy quality parts and came across the GMB brand that seems to be of good quality. I ordered the GMB 220-0046. My problem is that the rear u joint on the shaft is sealed but the ones recommended by online dealers are the grease-able type. My question is if the u joints are the same fitment so I can use two of the 220-0046 or do I really have to buy different types for the front driveshaft?

I just used the GMB 220046 for the front shaft. You need two of those for the front shaft. These are not greasable. Being greasable is a actually a plus since you can inject fresh grease and extend the life of the joint. I initially went with spicer (most expensive option) for being greasable. But they have clearance issues so I replaced them with GMB.

Just like my '02 Pathfinder, I'm only seeing two of the same joints on the front propeller shaft and neither one of them are greaseable, aside from initial assembly I suppose. I guess that means they are both sealed. This is what Infiniti Parts Deal shows as a quantity two needed for front and rear of the front shaft. >>> https://www.infinitipartsdeal.com/parts ... m=370_B001
This picture is what mine look like. Are yours different?

Thanks, that's exactly what I needed to hear. I get why the greasable type would be beneficial, but with how much time I've spent getting this rig up too speed I don't want anymore maintenance items :rotfl

Thanks for the link. Nope, mine look just like that. I'm gonna go for two of the non greasable GMBs.
