I saw him with Greag Almond in the 90's and it is still one of my favorite live shows I have ever seen!

Other than one song most of the members will have no clue.

My dad got me into Peter Frampton, He's a big Frampton fan. I love the way he uses the talk box. Even though he didn't invent it like most people think, he still uses it best IMO, great guitarist.

It's funny that most people don't know who he is. Another thing that's funny is last year, I ordered a talk box from an online music store for my lead guitarist, and the guy I was talking to asked why I wanted one. Told him that my band plays songs that uses a talk-box, and he laughed and said, "Oh. Thought maybe you had seen the commercial for an insurance company that used Peter Frampton."

My father has Frampton Comes Alive on vinyl, and it's in excellent shape. He bought another sealed copy about 15 years ago at an estate auction. Paid $14 for it. Wonder what it's worth these days?

Walsh is great! I like Frampton for more than the talk box though. Check the last link I posted and you will see what I mean. The collaboration with Steve Marriott was pure greatness. Steve will be truly missed.
