Me and my gf live in a 580 sq ft condo, so that's a no go unless they pay me in advance and promise to pick it up within 1 week. Also, I have no idea how hard it is to get the entire thing off...brokeAs240sx wrote:I believe there is a member or 2 looking for the entire top frame...
I wasn't snapping at you, just letting you know the sitch. Sorry if it came off that way.brokeAs240sx wrote:just trying to help. o well.
I'll try and grab the molding if it's on there.tenkawa_akito wrote:i think AZHitman is still looking for the black molding that goes around the rear quarter panels and deck lid.
also, could you see how much they would want for the rear seatbelts?
I noticed the door panels are gone from the junky vert, but you're welcome to my "OK shape" door panels for free if/once I do the door pillar mod.Loki4815 wrote:See if you can grab me some door panels in good condition (highly doubt it) and the metal nut/plastic piece at the base of the antenna. Cool, good to know. I think it may also be on the door jamb sticker (?), but I wasn't dressed for the cold, so I wasn't thinking straight - more concerned with trying to get in and out of there quickly.brokeAs240sx wrote:The VIN can also be obtained from the firewall toward the passenger side of the engine bay.
The semi-complete vert with the top was already crushed. Otherwise, I would have seen what I could have done.Ihiryu wrote:you think you could pull the passenger side top arm???
If I find another vert, I'll be sure to strip it of any vert-specific parts that are complete and useful. I'm still boggling about them crushing the good vert and leaving the stripped one. Maybe they do it by time in the yard rather than by how stripped the car is.slownslurious wrote:if you can find one cheap you may want to grab the header bar for the vert (the metal piece with the latches that attaches the soft top to the top of the windshield frame)...It will be harder to get surplus pieces like that as more verts are killed and crushed and I have a feeling that it may be a part some forum members will need or want in the future.
I think the A pillar panels may have been lying in the trunk half submerged in slimy water.(The plastic trim bits on the car were strewn all over the place).R4KA240 wrote:Any way the Driverside A pillar panel was there? I need one.. Anyone else have one laying around? Thanks
Loki, I have the nut and plastic part from the antenna off my car (I put on an aftermarket antenna today). The nut is in pretty good shape, but the plastic part got pretty chewed up because I didn't have the proper tool to get the antenna out. It's probably salvageable via sandpaper and paint.Loki4815 wrote:See if you can grab me some door panels in good condition (highly doubt it) and the metal nut/plastic piece at the base of the antenna. Still need this? Today I got both A pillar panels for you, passenger seat belt receptacle for someone else, and mirror with map lights for my vert.R4KA240 wrote:Any way the Driverside A pillar panel was there? I need one.. Anyone else have one laying around? Thanks
