Found a great 240, but aftermarket sunroof a problem
Ok guys, I found an awesome 95' 240SX standard model. It has high mileage, but I drove the car, and it feels strong, the frame is straight, exterior is in great condition etc, and all at a grea price. The only problem is that it has an aftermarket sunroof. The roof works and all, but I am 6'1", and when i test drove it my head was touching the bottom of the sunroof trim piece. It seems that the aftermarket sunroof assembly sticks down about 2" from the roof frame, and that is 2" that I need. The headliner wasn't even installed on it because a custom one needs to be made because the factory one can't fit because the roof comes down to far. Now my question is are there any options such filling in the roof, so I can get the 2" back, or other aftermarket roofs, that don't intrude as much into the cabin?

I'm slightly over 6"2' and i got at least 2"-3" above my head with the normal sunroof.Just lean your seat back and enjoy,i know if you have it all the way up you can actually look through the sunroof wile beeing almost seated. 
I'd say go for it you won't find many cars of the same caliber as the 240sx.

Ok, the thing is that this is an aftermarket sunroof, and it sticks down a good 2-3 inches down from the normal roof, I'm sure the factory roof doesnt' stick down that far. Also it's missing the headliner because the stock one won't even fit in there cause it sticks down so far, so i custom one needs to be made, he said could be done for about $100!! Jager, I tried to lean the seat back some and it was a little better, but then i could barely see out the windshield. Anyway...Tino, i haven't gotten your e-mail, i think the message board might be a little funky, try me at [email protected]. Also I believe this is the one fizzy is going to look at. It is a great car, and the seller is really cool too. The car drove like buttaa...pulled suprisingly hard for a car with that many miles. E-mail me for more details, we should let each other know the details about the good deals around. By the way Aznrider, i'm chinese, and 6'1, and i still can't dunk. But back to my original message does anyone have any ideas on what to do about this sunroof!?!? If it weren't for that ,I would have paid for it in cash and driven it home, but i know i can't deal with having my head touching the sunroof assembly everytime i sit in the car.
