Engine bolts right in (with very tight alternator clearance). Just need custom exhuats manifold, RE4R03 transmission and rewire all the electronics (PITA). I think it is possible.

If VG ever die on me (I am only having about 75kmiles on it), i will look into the swap.

That looks like a very good swap. Excuse me for being a noob to nissan engines but is a VH45 out of a Q45?

thats the exact swap im getting ready to do...ive had to put it on hold since my wife just gave birth to our daughter...i actually spoke with him several times before he started....however i dont want to go with a turbo setup....if im not mistaken hell be using the mazworks adapter and use a 5speed from a z32....ive been looking at a supercharger specifically the vortech v2 w/water methanol mix....also id like to keep the J an auto by swapping in a rebuilt q45 trans with upgraded valve bodies and possibly a shift kit....anyways i will keep yall updated with my progress for my VH swap...ive already gotten the donor Q45...as of right now the transmission will be pulled and sent off to level ten or IPT depending on who bids lower...and then ill pull hte motor and begin rebuilding that....ive also been looking into boring it .40 over and doing some minor machine work on the heads and intake...oh and dont worry i will try to remember to buy a new battery charger for my camera so i can take lots of pics...happy new years everyone....
