fog lights

ok, among the other projects im going to undertake, i would like to install fog lights... ive seen tutorials and pictures using all different kits, with various price ranges and all that.... my question, what kit would you recommend? i would like a kit thats white, ive seen people on the road with yellow... because i have silverstars in my headlights and would like it to match a little bit... so input please =]

loli use the JDM yellow olor for my fogs...help for rain n stuffi have white hids.uhi like them...lol

yeah i just personally dont like the yellow... id like just a white kit... and will probably wire them to turn on with my running lights, unless.... if i wire them to the headlights, will they stay on with the highs as well?

Thats how I have mine wired.Whenever I turn on my normal headlights, my fogs turn on.No extra on/off switch. They just turn on when my lights are on. Or more specifically, when my little orange lights are on. The first turn before the HIDs on the knob.

alright thats cool, but i still need to know what kind of fog lights i should go with... ive seen people use kits from walmart, autozone, and all that... and curious which i should go for.

im guessing the JDM is yellow... if so... then ill stick with autozone/pepboys/walmart/etc. haha

JDM doesn't mean its yellow. It just comes from Japan. If you want theses let me know (they are in the middle of the page)...first I got to see how much it will cost to ship.

If you don't care about this kinda stuff then ya you can go to autozone and pepboys if you want.

If all you're looking to do is match the color perfectly to your silverstars, then put any basic fogs with a clear lens and install silverstar bulbs.

They make a silverstar H3 bulb, which is what 99% of fog lamps are going to use. They're a little on the pricey side, but I've seen sellers on ebay selling them for $17-$25 per bulb. They don't sell them as a pair for some reason.

alright, but whats a good kit tho, ive seen a lot, and would like to easiest install =] haha... but maybe a good white one where in the future ill match it with silverstars, becasue i really want fogs this winter, but not looking to drop an additional 40-50 bucks =\

By the way, if anyone has yellow foglights is it possible if i could get a picture with the headlights and the yellow foglights on together at the same time..just want to see how it'll look...thanks in advance!!

I got my fogs at pepboys....there white but they also have a blue ring around them that lights up also but not at the same time as the fogs...it is also removeable so u dont need to have them installed with the fogs if u dont want. i kept them on anyway. the kit comes with everything u need and enough wire. i hooked them up to the parking lights. but also have them on a switch so if i dont want them on ill just flip the switch so they dont......cost was about 39.00.

yea man i got em in... really good kit... would recommend it... i have another thread with pics... i messed up the finishers at first, but bob at versaspeed has SL ones... i think the thread is called "My fogs" or something....

I bought these on ebay for bout 60 bucks put em in myself; it was quitea job! took a few hours...
