Hey guys... i have been struggling to install the darn fog lights into my 92 S13 lately... i managed to do the mounting and all,,, but the only problem is the wiring part... it is something like this....(forget about the part from lamp to the switch) ' from the switch... there will be a wire (c) goes to through a safety fuse.... then the wire (c) have to end up with either the fuse box or (+) terminal of battery'....

i have look into the driver side's fuse box yesterday,,,, and i dont find any empty space i can use it to connect the fog light.... is there any advice for me rather then just connect it to the (+)terminal?

i just does't not how to connect it to the fuse box... darn,,,

about the ground wiring... is there anymore ground port other than the one near the gear shifter?

Hey, K_Car... if the switch is not on the same wire as the power wire on the fog's... wouldn't the fogs be on all the time.. wouldn't youneed to put the switch between the battery and the fogs in order to break the power cycle!?!?!? =/

Technically, the switch should be sending power to the relay, then the relay power to the lights. Reason being is that the relay is rated for a much higher amperage than the switch.

Run a fused 12v ignition wire(This can be tapped from the black/red wire at the ignition harness under the dash, make sure to use a fuse!) to one side of the fog light switch. Then run a wire from the other side of the switch to terminal 85 on the relay. Ground terminal 86 on the relay. Put a fused 12v wire on terminal 30,(can be found at the same black/red as used earlier). Finally connect the positive from your fog lights to terminal 87.

Make sure to ground the negatives to a good piece of metal for a good connection. I also like to put a little dielectric grease in the connectors that I connect to the fog lights with, this helps with corrosion issues. Make sure to use fuses of the smallest value possible (15amp should be enough).

The switch energizes the relay in K's diagram which in turn, when energized, closes, providing a ground to the fog lights, turning them on. With the switch open, there is no ground, thus open circuit and no light.

cool guys.... i really like the diagram... very help full... but can you give me the specification of the relay to use? becuase i dont have any with me now... i need the information go to buy a relay in walmart or something :D

speaking or grounding the.... do you ground it just by putting the ground wire to have contact with any part of the car body?

Just get a universal automotive type relay. Bosch is one of the main brands but any will do. Just make sure that it is 20 or 30 amp rated.
