fog light question

So I am thinking about getting new fogs installed. Bright HID headlights and yellow fogs are driving me nuts. Is install just as easy as popping the old ones off and hooking the new ones up?

And nothing will change as far as auto-on and stuff like that right?

Any help is appreciated.
