Hey guys, I'm new here, live up in Cocoa. I've been lurking here for a few months. I finally bought my 240SX.

Here's some pics of my car I just bought:

I have been looking for this car for months and finally found it. It's exactly what I want, a black 1997 Nissan 240SX w/ a 5-speed manual. It was the perfect price, it really was a deal. I already tagged and titled it and all that. I've been driving it all day. I'm not sure what my plans are for it yet, but it will get some different wheels, a little lower, body kit, and some sort of power adder (either turbo the KA or SR20 swap). It's really a fun car to drive and I can't believe I found it.

welcome to nico i have thoughs wheels but in bronze. you should come out to some of the meets down here in palm bay. theres some sic cars around here.

did i see you on 192 like an hour or 2 ago?? i was in my g/f red s14 with sportmax wheels. o but every thur. night they are off of sarno rd. in the parking lot were you get your tags done and they keep cop cars.

haha thats funny the first thing i thought of when i saw your car was iv never seen that around here then i thought about nico. small world. but yeh u should come on down here to one of the meets one night.

How big are the meets on a regular basis? I'm down to go there on a night that should have a few people there.

they arnt huge but most of the guys that have 240's in brevard go to it people from merritt island cocoa come down there we usually hang out for awile and some nights they head out to merritt island. its up to you

got the sr to start finnaly it was a few things but pretty much timing and a wire not hooked up for the coolant temp sensor. but besides that does anyone have any of the bolts that go into the head to hold the valve cover on you know how you have the head than the bolts than the valve cover then the rubber seals and then medal gaurds then u have the nuts/studs well i need all the bolts and nuts i have the seals and gaurds. anyone have some from a spare sr or somthin?? if so let me know how much shipped

usually around 9:30 10:00 at night. im not to sure if im goin out there tonight cause i got my sr to start and drove her around the block and she runs like **** im thinking i have a boost leak when i get on the gas she sputters and i think my blow off valve may be to tight or loose not sure yet cause when i came to my drive way the car just shut off but i started her back up and she went. im workin out bugs i guess you can say

I'm in Sebring. Tell me where and when on a meet and I'll probably make it over. Out of interest....does Copher's U-pull(has a new name but it's on Causeway) ever have any decent 240's? I used to get parts there all the time. But it's a two hour drive almost and with gas prices what they are tough to get over there unless I'm sure they have something.

There was a jdm meet yesturday in Weston Florida in Markham Park. I was the only 240 there til a green kouki with an r33 front showed up and a black front bumperless turb hatch (sil80). It was mostly a honda thing anyways. Since i been here aint seen much 240's around

There's a few 240's around here (Cocoa area), but that's part of the allure of driving a 240sx, it's not that common and somewhat unique.

hey guys, i havent been on in a while. just picked up a coupe, its got a working HUD, and its 5 speed!!.

im gonna need to do brakes and diffently lower it soon..

i saw your car the other day, looks good except you shoud spray the two tone again so both sides have that greyish bottom. it'll be sweet.
