Long story but the person that made it for me as a gift decided he wanted money for it afterwards, which i did not think was a fair price, so i returned it to him.mixeds14 wrote:nice, what happen to that bada$$ cover?
The BMC Definitely needs to be upgraded. The front to rear bias is out of wack too.HxC_Nismo wrote:that stock s14 brake master cylinder will feel pretty spongy with z32 brakes all the way around. but other then that looking good man
WOW! Thats a good bit more boost than i'm running now. It would probably be a MONSTER with 22 psi. :o I need to have the timing adjusted a bit before i turn the boost up. probably need a bit more fuel up top too. This makes me smile and now im motivated to get this thing REALLY cranking out some power. Chris, this is all safe on the stock motor? It just looked a little smaller than that in the pics. Anywho, I'd go for no less than 1.5 bar (22 psi'ish I believe.) That turbo doesn't do so great at low boost. The difference between 1 bar and 1.7 bar was HUGE for me--like 100hp or more huge. I think 1.7 bar was what I drove around daily boosting and it was "fun" I have run it around 1.9 bar on occassion when I was getting ready to leave japan, but I think my motor was half blown and it would hold the boost on the top end anyways. That kick in the pants lower in the RPMs was noticable for sure though (1.7 vs 1.9) but i was having big time traction issues anyways, and that just exacerbated them.
yea this block is one i purchased from ricky, and i sold the built block. Its a neo block from a stagea GT-four, automatic, turbo.mixeds14 wrote:wait, wait.. i though ur bottom end was also built... are u running the hx40 with the stock neo bottom n a built head?.. im comfused now... that makes me wanna slap a hx35 on my neo now... i may just have to pm u down the road n ask u some info, since not a lot of people are running the neo motor...
